Nelly is celebrating the 20th anniversary of his seven-times platinum Nellyville album by making it available on vinyl for the first time.

Originally released on June 25, 2002, it was nominated for Grammy Awards for Album of the Year and Best Rap Album. His #1 single “Dilemma,” featuring Kelly Rowland, was nominated for Record of the Year and won a Grammy for Best Rap/Sung Performance. The first single, “Hot in Herre,” also reached the top of the Billboard Hot 100 and was certified double Platinum.

Nellyville was the real moment when we realized our impact,” the St. Louis rapper said in a statement. “The city, the whole Midwest, it was just Nellyville. Everybody that helped bring this project to life made it monumental and that’s why it still rings out like we just dropped it 20 years later.”

The double vinyl edition of Nellyville, featuring four new tracks, will go on sale July 29 and is now available for preorder on The Urban Legends website.
