Kodak Black was arrested in Florida over the weekend on drug possession and trafficking charges.

Kodak, whose legal name is Bill Kahan Kapri, was booked on Friday afternoon after being pulled over for a traffic stop in Fort Lauderdale, according to the Miami Herald. On Saturday, he was bailed out after bond was set at $75,000.

According to a release from the Florida Highway Patrol obtained by newspaper, Kodak was pulled over because he was driving a purple SUV that appeared to have window tints darker than the legal limit. After noticing a marijuana smell, the SUV was searched and a bag with 31 tablets, later identified as oxycodone was found, along with almost $75,000 in cash.

Additionally, records revealed that the “Super Gremlin” rapper had an expired vehicle tag and driver’s license.

Kodak’s arrest comes after he was pardoned by then-president Donald Trump in January 2021. Kodak was serving time on federal weapons charges for falsifying documents used to purchase weapons. He was about halfway through the 46 month sentence.
