Megan Thee Stallion‘s Pete and Thomas Foundation has partnered with the Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium to bring joy to young Black girls in multiple cities.

The two organizations have teamed up to launch their inaugural Joy is our Journey Dream Bus Tour — a monthlong outing specifically catered to “Black girls, young women and gender-expansive youth, between the ages of 12-24.”

The tour — “a mini-festival-like experience” — will feature free outdoor workshops and events surrounding various areas, including mental health, wellness, beauty, dream-building and entrepreneurship. Participants will also have the opportunity to enjoy music and eat good food while connecting with each other.

“I’m really excited to have the Pete and Thomas Foundation partner with the Southern Black Girls and Women’s Consortium on this special initiative,” Megan said in a statement. “We both share the same goals – to empower our young Black women, give them the resources to succeed, and help them pursue their personal and professional dreams.”

The Journey Dream Bus Tour kicked off Saturday in Atlanta, Georgia. It will make stops in a few cities before ending with the 2022 Black Girls Dream Conference, set to go down September 16 and 17 in Birmingham, Alabama.
