50 Cent is taking his talents to The Drew Barrymore Show, where he’ll temporarily fill in for the talk show host. Drew revealed the news Thursday alongside the reason for her sudden absence.

“I’ve got covid and lucky the cat! Im good and will be back soon,” she captioned a photo of her in bed with her kitty. “In the meantime [co-host Ross Mathews] and @50cent are taking over. So only good news to report!!!!!” Drew then teased that there “maybe some other special surprises” during her time away from the show.

While 50 Cent is known for his rapping and behind-the-scenes moves in the television space, he does have talk show experience: He was a guest host on The View in 2016. He also had the opportunity to put Stephen Colbert in the hot seat when he interviewed him during a 2018 appearance on The Late Show.

It probably also helps that 50 is familiar with the set of The Drew Barrymore Show; he was a guest last year and, most recently, in February.

The Drew Barrymore Show airs weekdays on CBS.
