Creed III is making its debut next year, but fans already have a reason to look forward to its soundtrack. According to star Michael B. Jordan, J. Cole’s Dreamville Records will serve as executive producers on the album. He spilled the tea while at Complex Con over the weekend.
“I’m probably gonna get in trouble,” he said. “Dreamville is executive producing this album.”
Creed III, the third film in the boxing trilogy, will be Jordan’s directorial debut. He’ll return as Adonis “Donnie” Creed, a boxing prodigy who’s thriving in his career when childhood friend Damian “Dame” Anderson (Jonathan Majors), free from a long prison bid, challenges him in the ring.
The film, which stars Tessa Thompson, Wood Harris, Phylicia Rashad and Florian Munteanu, premieres on March 3, 2023. No other details about the soundtrack were revealed.
