Rolling Loud California was underway last weekend, bringing fans the promised star-studded lineup. Among the highlights were new music from City Girls, a surprise appearance from Nicki Minaj, and interruptions during sets from headliners Travis Scott and Playboi Carti

Carti hit the stage Friday, the same night Tyga and YG teased a collaborative album, and Kodak Blackgot hit with a water bottle, per XXL. His set was temporarily stopped as someone in the audience had gotten hurt.

“This is an emergency right now. Someone is hurt in the … crowd, let’s take break. Everybody needs to back up, they are going to stop the show,” he said, returning to the stage after roughly 15 minutes.

Blueface and Fivio Foreign were scheduled to perform, but neither of them showed up. The former claimed “police ain’t let us in” the show, while the latter chalked up his absence to his “body dealing with some real issues.”

On Saturday, Don Toliver brought out Justin Bieber on his set, and City Girls previewed a new song called “Piñata.” Special guest Lil Wayne also took the stage and brought Nicki Minaj out to perform some of her songs — but sound issues got in the way. “Kill the DJ. Kill the sound guy,” she said, according to XXL. The two waited for the audio to be fixed before they continued on with their performance.

Travis then took Rolling Loud for his headlining set, which was cut short due to the event’s curfew. Variety reports his sound cut off 30 minutes into his set, during his performance of “Sicko Mode.”
