Megan Thee Stallion‘s return to the spotlight continues. In a recent carousel posted on Instagram, she shared photos from her trip to Washington, D.C., where she attended a Women’s History Month celebration.

Meg struck different poses in a classic black and blue floral sweater and matching A-line skirt, and shared a selfie with Vice President Kamala Harris, who hosted the event. Glamour reports the event, held at Kamala’s residence, was an opportunity to discuss the economic empowerment of women, women’s power and the importance of paid leave.

“Economic empowerment of women is about an investment in the future of our country,” Harris said at the event. “When you lift up the economic status of women, you lift up the economic status of families and communities, and all of society benefits.”

Megan’s D.C. trip comes days after her resurgence at the Vanity Fair Oscar party. She’s headlining the AT&T Block Party in her hometown of Houston Friday, March 31.
