Swizz Beatz went down memory lane while honoring his late friend DMX. The producer shared a series of photos and throwback clips on his Instagram Sunday, which marked the two-year anniversary of X’s death. He also posted on his actual feed, writing, “Long live my Dog 4 Life @dmx THE GREAT. we feel you everyday King.”

DMX passed away April 9, 2021, at 50 years old. He’d been rushed to the hospital days prior and eventually succumbed to a heart attack. 

On Sunday, X’s Ruff Ryders collective visited his grave and hosted a Ryde Out to “celebrate and remember our brother DMX and all our fallen Soldiers,” they shared in a post. The event was promoted to have food, fun, games and music.
