Watch Kid Cudi play a dad in the trailer for Disney+ movie ‘Crater’

Kid Cudi is ironically The Man on the Moon in the new Disney+ movie Crater. He plays the father of the lead character, one of five teens in the film.

Cudi encourages his son, Caleb (Isaiah Russell-Bailey), to take a road trip with his friends to a mysterious crater. The group then sets out on the journey, during which they see deadly meteor showers, play low-G baseball and fall in love.

Crater drops May 12, but the trailer is now available. The film also stars Mckenna Grace, Billy Barratt, Orson Hong and Thomas Boyce.

“The Man on the Moon” is the name of Cudi’s 2009 song and his three-part album series.
