G Herbo is working out a plea deal in his federal fraud case. The rapper, born Herbert Wright III, is currently facing charges from a fraud scheme in which he used stolen credit cards over a four-year period to charge over $1 million for luxury services.

According to documents obtained by AllHipHop, the prosecution requests Herbo appear at a Rule 11 meeting, where charges including aggravated identity theft can be dismissed if he pleads guilty; jail time can also potentially be avoided.

Herbo was arrested in December 2020 and later released on bond. He initially claimed he was innocent, but has been involved in plea negotiations since May 2021.
