Mannie Fresh has joined a list of artists who have sold off their music catalog. The producer’s music publishing and music rights are now owned by Reservoir Media. They were sold for an undisclosed amount.

“It’s great to be joining up with Faith Newman and the entire Reservoir team,” Mannie said in a statement. “I’m grateful for their support, and I know they’ll take care of my music.”

Mannie Fresh’s catalog includes his production as a producer for Cash Money Records, as well as his tenure in Big Tymers alongside Birdman.

He produced Juvenile‘s “Back That Azz Up,” Lil Wayne‘s “Go DJ” and “Top Back” by T.I. He also rapped on songs including “Get Your Roll On,” “Number One Stunna” and “This Is How We Do.”

“I was born and raised in Louisiana and witnessed Mannie’s meteoric rise from a local DJ in New Orleans to a globally acclaimed producer, writer, and performer who helped break some of the genre’s biggest talents,” Reservoir President and Chief Operating Officer Rell Lafargue said.

“It means a lot to me to continue to build Reservoir’s connection to creators like Mannie, who represents the highest caliber of contemporary music from New Orleans, and we’re pleased to be the new stewards of his hit music.”
