Kid Cudi fulfilling more dreams in upcoming series, ‘Knuckles’

Kid Cudi has joined the cast of the Paramount+ series Knuckles. He shared the news on Instagram Tuesday alongside a screenshot of the Deadline article detailing the show.

“When life has more dreams for you to fulfill. its lit #knuckles @paramountplus,” he captioned the post. On Twitter, he shared that his cat Sweets was sharing his enthusiasm.

“Sweets is happy and excited about the Knuckles show,” Cudi wrote next to a photo of the cat. In it, Sweets is playing with a stuffed toy version of Knuckles.

According to Deadline, Knuckles, a spin-off of Sonic the Hedgehog, “will follow Knuckles on a hilarious and action-packed journey of self-discovery as he agrees to train Wade as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior.”

In addition to Cudi, born Scott Mescudi, the series will also feature guest stars Rory McCann and Tika Sumpter as well as stars Edi PattersonJulian BarrattEllie Taylor, Adam Pally and Idris Elba, who serves as the titular character and one of the executive producers of the show.

No release date for Knuckles has been set, but Sonic the Hedgehog 3 is slated to come out Dec. 20, 2024.

Kid Cudi also stars in the Disney+ film Crater, set to premiere in May.
