ABC/Randy Holmes(LOS ANGELES) — During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show that aired Monday, former Saturday Night Live star Kristen Wiig joined Ellen for a less-than-stellar take on “Let It Go,” the song Idina Menzel originally sang in the Disney film Frozen.
DeGeneres had confessed that she’s “probably one of the only human beings on this planet that doesn’t know that song ‘Let It Go.'”
Wiig admitted to being just as clueless, noting, “I just know that the words ‘let it go’ are in there. I assume they’re in there.”
The 56-year-old talk show host explained, “My niece sang the whole thing to me the other day and I thought, ‘Well, we should sing it together.’ We don’t know it.” She declared that her and Wiig’s version would be “the worst” of all the videos that have been circulating around the Web.
DeGeneres then pulled out two microphones and handed one to Wiig. They went on to give a hilarious performance of the entire song.
