Will Smith and children taking over ‘Red Table Talk’ to discuss new movie ‘Emancipation’

Jada Pinkett Smith is handing over of the reins of Red Table Talk to her husband, Will Smith. In a new episode airing Wednesday, December 14, the actor will open up to his three children about his experience filming the movie Emancipation.

The film follows Will’s character, a runaway slave, on his quest for freedom. He admits it was a grueling experience, the first time in his career that he nearly “went too far” and “lost himself.” He also discussed some of his biggest revelations in life and recalled the time a costar refused to speak to him while filming.

Additionally, the forthcoming RTT episode captures TreyJaden and Willow Smith as they wonder about their father’s recovery process following an intense role; director Antoine Fuqua, co-star Ben Foster and Will’s mother are expected to make an appearance.
